Enduring LA rockers Dokken return with a new album that promises a return to their much loved 80's heyday. In recent years Dokken have released a succession of albums that, whilst generally well received, where nevertheless felt by many long standing fans to be trying to flirt with modern trends too much - so the question is has Don Dokken and crew delivered an album that can take us back to those halycon days of 1986's classic 'Under Lock And Key'?

In particular the development of sound modelling and high gain amps has been so expansive that it is frankly very easy to access a very usable tone both for recording and playing live but, to be frank, it has become all too easy and mistakes are being made!

Since his early days on the LA club circuit with his band Exciter to the latest incarnation of his band, simply named "Lynch", he has consistently been out there playing, performing and releasing records. Currently with a new line of signature series Randall USA amps, a signature Eminence Speaker, signature strings and a very long standing relationship with ESP guitars, Lynch is seldom far from the pages of guitar magazines.
