Scott Gorham Invites ACM to the Thin Lizzy Gig
20 lucky ACM students got the chance of a lifetime to rock out with the legendary Thin Lizzy at their recent gig at the Southampton Guildhall.
Guitarist Scott Gorham sent a personal invitation to the 20 fortunate musicians to attend the gig as the band’s special guests. Before the concert, students met up with the rock legends for photo opportunities and autographs, got on stage to check out the set up and watched the band as they went through their sound check.
Scott and ACM share a close relationship as Scott is a former band mate of ACM Drum School Manager and Head of Faculty Mike Sturgis from 80’s rock quartet 21 Guns.
Scott said “Mike and I go back a long way. It’s great to see you guys here to support us. I’m really looking forward to the gig.”
Students at the gig had only one thing to say…”LIZZY ROCKS!!!!”
The marathon 17-date UK tour started at Leicester De Montfort Hall on Thursday November 22nd and is set to finish at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday December 13th.
