The Reverend has been in love with the electric guitar since 1968, when he went to his first gig (Jethro Tull) and saw a Les Paul and a 335 used ‘in anger’ for the first time.

It was almost 30 years later that he bought his first guitar and, over the past 8 years or so, has been fortunate enough to own several Gibsons (Les Pauls, SGs and a 335) several US Strats, a Music Man Silhouette Special, a couple of Big Baby Taylors and a couple of Martin acoustics.

The Reverend always used to tell people that “I own several great guitars – all of which I can play badly!”
Then he discovered that he was rather good at setting them up, and that took over. The guitars he has worked on over the past few years range from the exotic (Gibson Custom Shop Flying V’s, Jackson and Fender master-built), the rare (Gibson 1930s L37 acoustic, ancient Gretsch) to the dire (fake Epiphone Les Paul – why bother?!).
