Edward Box was born and raised in Cumbria on a diet of British and LA metal. At the age of 14 he discovered the joys of Van Halen and embarked on an odyssey that has seen many highs and lows. At the age of 17 he relocated to Newcastle Upon Tyne to study music and he has since established himself as a much sort after guitar teacher within the region.

His first band XLR8R were rated as one of the best unsigned metal bands in England and had much postitive press over the years but, due to the shifting musical climate, world domination eluded them. His next band Arch Stanton was a pop rock four piece with many catchy songs but a lack of desire and motivation curtailed this particular project. In 2002 he signed to Lion Music and released his first album of instrumental material Plectrumhead. This gained excellent reviews and in 2006 an inspired Ed created a follow up, Moonfudge, which went on to be very well recieved in the guitar community.

Currently he is in the process of promoting Tyranny of Minority, his first album of vocal songs with his metal band Vendetta. His favourite players are numerous but he sites George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, Doug Aldrich, Joe Satriani, Edward Van Halen, Kee Marcello, Warren De Maritni, Ronni Le Tekro, Michael Lee Firkins and Tony Macalpine as some of his biggest heroes.
